Services are provided to the community through four service divisions: Professional Counseling and Children's Services, Elderly and Family Assistance Services, Immigration and Legal Services, and Refugee and Empowerment Services.


Professional Counseling and Children's Services

- Catholic Charities’ Maternity and Adoption Program strives to give the best care and support for those expecting and those wanting to adopt. Since 1985, Catholic Charities has been a licensed child placing agency. (MORE INFO...)

- The Mary R. Saner Child Development Center at Marillac is a nurturing, diverse environment offering quality childcare. It promotes childrens' physical, social, emotional and mental development, while responding to the needs of families, allowing them to work or go to school with peace of mind.

Elderly and Family Assistance Services

- We provide nutrition, social services and recreational activities to Dallas residents over age 60. Bilingual staff coordinate a wide variety of activities and services for those who are enrolled.

- Catholic Charities recognizes the plight of those living in poverty. Assistance in the form of food, clothing and financial assistance is available to eligible persons living in certain zip codes.

Immigration and Legal Services

- For those who come to the United States seeking a better life for their families, the process of legal immigration can be difficult and confusing. ILS helps newcomers to the U.S. understand their rights, obtain lawful residency and if eligible, become United States citizens.

Refugee and Empowerment Services

- Thousands of people must flee their homeland in fear of persecution and death each year. Catholic Charities works with the United States government to shelter these victims of circumstance.

To empower our clients, we help strengthen families and eliminate barriers to employment. Employment Services include job preparedness and placement assistance. By accessing Education and Training Services, adults may enroll in a variety of classes available to everyone.
